Re: Android For The Vogue Is Here!!!

Can someone who has an SD card that is working send out some details(At least a brand and size you use). I have 2 512MB, neither work.

Re: Android For The Vogue Is Here!!!

I got a SanDisk 4gb HC. Everything has been working fine for me. It doesn't recognize the SD card once Android is running. No biggie.

Re: Android For The Vogue Is Here!!!

Android boots fine with my Sandisk 6GB on my Sprint Touch. I've tried the 10/25 and 10/28 versions so far.

This is the model number on my invoice from newegg

Does Android recognize it after booting?

Re: Android For The Vogue Is Here!!!

is anyone having problems with their touch screen once android boots? On the versions since Android went open source, it boots (something about it can't open tty, but the print is too small), it boots fine but once I unlock the screen, it doesn't matter what I touch on the screen, no response. This wasn't the case with prior versions; I could use the browser, call out, etc. I've tried the newer versions both on the device and with the files on the sd card (with the data and system files in the root), but nothing changes the screen from being non-responsive. Also tried disabling gps; no go with that either. Any ideas??

also I can type

ls /sdroot

Re: Android For The Vogue Is Here!!!

The only way I've been able to connect to the internet within android is to first load IE and let it connect to the sprint service and than start Android.

Is everyone else experiencing this aswell? Is there a way to gain internet access within andrioid without first connecting to the internet within Windows Mobile first?

I was having the exact same problem regarding the screen locking after it went "black". However, after loading the "android-28-10-08" version, the black screen unlocks every time. MUCH better!

Actually, I just noticed that there a new fresh new build: "android-30-10-08"
I will try this one later today.

I tried that too. I'm able to unlock the screen using the volume down key, but then when Android comes up -- I can see various options like browser -- tapping or pressing on them doesn't do anything. It then reverts back to the little android figure and then the locked screen again.
