Thanks in advance.
personally i left the values as is, and it works fine for me. ive been running android for like a week now and not one problem. although sometimes the internet wont work, so ill soft reset and reboot, but other than that its a-ok

Usually when my internet has stopped working, it's because you need to reset the modem. Not sure if that's your issue, but worth a shot to avoid the reset.

Re: Android For The Vogue Is Here!!!

Hey guys, has anyone had problems with the battery % fluctuating up and down? Mine will be at 80% and drop to 70.. go back up to 90%.. its weird. Also it says fully charged but I know for a fact it isnt b/c if you boot into wm6 it says otherwise.

Any tips/fixes??

yeah, i get the same issue, but i think it has to do with how many programs you have open, i have task killer installed and i try to clase as many apps as i can, and for me itll report 70% and ill leave it off for like...10 minutes and it will show 90%, and i think that it does show an accurate reading, ive ran android for 2 days straight... something definitely NOT possible on windows lol

So you haven't charged it in 2 days!? Damn. I must be doing something wrong.

Also.. my data cuts out. I disconnect the modem, and try to reconnect.. but it says "starting pppd...connection attempt FAILED." can anyone shed some light on this?

I actually solved my problem.. I accidentally had Toggle Data set to off which was blocking my data :P

I had my phone charge overnight to 100% and unplugged it at 8am.. its now 2:21 (almost 6.5 hours later) and my battery is at 21%. I've been texting and on the Market a lot. How long are you guys getting out of a charge?

Toggling background data when you're not actively using it will probably double your battery life (crude estimate). Likewise, you can turn off your auto updates and auto syncing, or at least limit the amount of times they update per day. I've found those small changes allow me to run Android pretty much like I run winmo. Android doesn't get quite the same battery life, but it's close.
