Re: Android For The Vogue Is Here!!!
I went to the 1st post and seems to not be updated...? Or is it true that it's only partially working? I'd hate to read 116 pages to find where everything works (at least on Sprint network?) I have one of these phones and would like to play around with android on it... It's a Sprint branded Vogue with Altel case (just love that grey look!)

You have listed as your carrier Metro and Boost. Last I heard Metro had talk text and web browsing but no GPS, market, other apps/widgets and no MMS. As for Boost I don't have a clue, they might be using Sprints setting after all they use the sprint network. |

Can someone get a few links and have a MOD update original post with latest & greatest installs & instructions? Maybe someone should start a new thread with updated info... |

Re: Android For The Vogue Is Here!!!
Howdy all, I’ve been trying multiple platforms of android on my vogue...all ran from the sd card (sorry, but until android has Bluetooth I will not completely give up my WinMo), and I have come to understand that I like 1.5 Ion or 1.6 Donut, with a slight edge to Donut because it just seems to be faster and a slight edge over Ion as far as working bells and whistles (google's talk to search, gps, etc.), but I have also noticed that the marketplace in Donut seems more limited. For example in Ion I can download search and download Pandora and other popular apps no problem, but with Donuts marketplace Pandora and other popular apps cannot be found. I've heard that it maybe because 1.6 Donut originated/developed for the GSMs, but I don't know if that makes any sense. Has anyone else experienced a limited marketplace for 1.6 Donut? Which Android builds have you been running from the sd card?
