That was the thing though. People that did this deal did it based not just on the deal, but the fact he had 400+ feedbacks, with around a 98% good rating. It wasn't like he was a first time seller or something with a questionable rating

Oh no, I understand your "too good to be true" comment. It was your later comment that you'd go with someone with good feedback over someone with good pricing. He had good feedback AND good pricing

Honestly, part of me is wondering if we created our own problem.

I would imagine he wants to get rid of them fast, so has the "Best offer" option there for people that want to take a chance and see. Because he had a "Buy it now" price as well which was in the 300's.

I have a feeling that when we jumped here, and suddenly had a run on them, he wasn't expecting it. Point in case, I know he went from about 7 left when I bought down to 0 left in about a days time.

His own stupid fault for putting more as a quanity then he could've done easily, but I think that may'be been part of it. I don't think he probably expected a run of people all doing the "Make me an offer" at such a low rate that quick.

Sounds something fishy here I would not fall for the death of the family story. Have you ever noticed when you can't make it to work or somewhere important you always pull that excuse and always gets you out??? Keep harrasing this guy and don't get robbed!!!

lol I just find it funny that if it really was all a scam, he's bothering to take his time to answer messages. I don't mind though. I'll wait about 2 weeks before acting on it. I paid when he had 98+% feedback, so if anything, I'll get a full refund from PayPal. If not, then I'll do a chargeback and have PayPal deal with him. Seems like I'm doing fine with my Mogul so far with the new rom update, but I still want more ram.

That's the only reason I'm not making a claim right now. Maybe someone really did have a death in the family. .It's not that uncommon after all. I won't let it go past the 30 day mark. I think that is the limit for PayPal claims. But I'll give it a couple weeks I suppose.

I was the first one to buy from him and I'm still being patient. You guys knocking on this kid need to chill out - I have been there. In college, trying to sell stuff on eBay to pay for school, housing, fun-happy-time money, and then something happened that completely screwed up my normal "system". He's not Amazon, good lord.

And we're not saving $50 off the $499 price - most of us are saving $250.
