I duplicated this the same way the OP did. Here is what I have installed:

Which version of the Home Customizer do you have installed? That and PHM are the only two progs we appear to have in common.

well it happens on my mogul and i have threaded sms installed and no other apps

Remember this forum is for the Touch. It is a known issue that the Threaded SMS app pops up randomly when installed.

i have had the same problem right out of the box. i thought it was supposed to be like that till i read this thread! now im all bummed cuz i have a problem with it now lol

i only have a few hacks on it now...

I don't have spb and it was happening on my phone. I think my problems started when I had "show titlebar clock" enabled in HTC home customizer. I had to reset the thing and just left that option unchecked. It seems to be okay now. I only have HHC and PimBackup on mine.

i just did a hard reset and its working fine with all the hacks listed above. hmmmm i think grey1 is right about the titlebar clock....

You may be on to something here. I also disabled the titlebar clock because it's redundant anyway, and I haven't had the phone app problem lately. Could be purely coincidental but it's certainly worth trying.
