SprintTV on the Sprint HTC Touch Official Discussion Thread

This is really pissing me off...Everytime i try to explain to a sprint tech representative about this "known issue" about the sprint TV with the Touch, they always send that 1005.cab which doesn't work..I almost always get only audio and NO video!! And when I do get video its only for about 2 minutes then it stops and realoads umpteen times!!!... I also spoke to a woman at my local sprint store, and she was tellin me that there is no EVDO coverage out here so it's virtually impossible for me to get streaming media from the sprint TV... well in that case why does my father's Palm Treo 755p sprint TV work so flawlessly? It has to just be this phone..Man HTC and Sprint needs to step ther game up and find out what's wrong with the Vogue!!

Does anyone know if the update in February will fix this?

Update in February? Do you know something we don't? There are no set dates for an update to be released for the Touch.

The closed to a date we have is Q1 2008 for GPS which was on a spec sheet on Sprint's business site.

Mine just started working too. It was obviously a network issue that no one at CS knew about. Big surprise.

i recently got the touch today and and the first time i went to launch the sprint tv it said i need to update first and the cab was 1005 and it soon after started working.

It needs to be a sticky because every single person that has an issue creates a new thread, so instead of having dozens of threads about SprintTV, it's better to have one sticky.

so, although mine was working earlier today, i just tried to start it up and i get an error that says invalid user id, and then it quits..
has anyone hear of this?

I was wondering if anyone else have seen this problem, when I try to watch comedy central the audio is waaaay ahead of the video. It is out of sync almost every time I try it.
