Updated: 02/05 - NO LONGER WORKING on Sprint - Real Picture Mail (PicMail, MMS)

CRAP...I got all excited for nothing. I feel so pathetic when i have to explain to ppl who don't have Sprint that i have to jump through 50 hoops to send them a pic.

Ah well, i'll be waiting for a better solution like all the other ppcgeeks out there..I need a DRINK!! LOL

what happens if we change the server addy. I use to use another one and it worked but the pic mail program i have now i cant edit the server. I am trying the old one so i can manually install. this is what i used before and it worked great.:Originally Posted by Gadgetguy

Thats not a different server, thats just the IP address of the sprint server you have listed, so essentially they are the same thing... the ip address had to be used instead because of some weird dns issue where if you went to the direct sprint.com address it wouldn't point you to the right place... the ip address this is just a mild work around... since were totally locked out of the servers it wont matter either way...

when in regedit program I found the ArcSoft MMS but can't find Config in folder I can only see setup that's it where can I find Config so I can edit server

hey i just got the mms feature on my touch and i been trying to send pics of me but everytime it says that the message failed.........in the to part of the message dont i put the phone number or how does it work.........plz someone help me out!

can't seem to find the Config in the regedit program to open EnableServerEdit and changed the key help..

I was wondering why I kept getting "message failed" errors.

What a crock of s**t. The Touch is considered a comsumer media phone with Sprint TV even, yet no Picture Mail? WTF?

I guess Sprint wants to lose more customers.

I hope someone here or XDA Devs figure this one out.

There doesn't look to be a fix anytime in the future unless Sprint changes their mind.
