Has anyone gotten the promised Touch by eCare? - Page 15

So after talking to Sprint, I decided to go the 249 route myself.

I'll try to send in the mail in rebate and see what happens but I'm not going to expect anything.

But yeah, my Mogul is missing a letter (s) key and while they said they wouldn't charge me just because of that, I'd rather be on the safe side.

So I now own both phones. I paid Sprint a 300-something payment to pay for the 249 and my bill for the month and now I've got to wait for them to apply their credits and crap.

But the boot loader can't be flashed back at this point. Nobody should notice right now.

Also do a ##786# on your device if you know your MSL. Master reset is always a good idea. Clears out your activation information and everything.

Ive tried calling sprint 6 times and still the best deal ive got is 250 for a touch, any ideas on how i can get the free touch?

I got mine. They called me from ecare and said they would send me a return kit and to just go buy the phone in the store...So I did... YEAH!

Does that $250 price include extending your contract and using your upgrade or are they just letting you buy the Touch for $250? Also, are they requiring you to send your old phone back as well?

No, its just for the phone no contract upgrade or anything.

Sweet, got mine about 10 days ago as a replacement for my Mogul. Love it so far. Just wish I could fine a silicone case that fits it correctly.

hey guys, what do your return kits look like?? My is just a UPS paper bag. I heard someone mentioned he got a white box... My concern is that I cut out the UPC of Mogul box so I don't want to send the Mogul box back to Sprint coz it might give me some trouble. Can I just put the phone and all the accessories in that bag without sending the original box back? THanks.
