Has anyone gotten the promised Touch by eCare?

This question is for those who was promised Touch as a "free" replacement for Mogul

I have read somewhere, that the shipping for "promised" Touch through eCare is getting delayed.

Has anyone who was promised Touch replacement through eCare, either gotten the phone or gotten a tracking number from them???

i order today. and i ask about tracking number, they can't offer for me tracking number.
because my order is not regular order something....etc...

I got mines ordered today too. Tracking number will be available in 48 hours she said. She said email back again.

Do they charge you for the touch and then credit you back the amount once they get the mogul back?

I have a 550 spending limit so will I run into any problems?

I was told i have to have my phone taken into a shop

id have to take it in to get looked at, and confirmed that..yes my bluetooth does indeed succck. They said that if they deem the bt to be an issue they will issue me a touch as a replacement.

I have a feeling that if a tech at some local sprint shop listens to my bt and deems it acceptable then my account will state that the bt is fine and i will have an even harder time getting a phone with acceptable blue toofh.

will e-care do a auto replacement swap with my mogul if i contact them?

It seems that at this moment, eCare is well aware of this issues.(BT, Lock ups)
A lot of current Mogul users were able to contact them and get a Touch as a replacement.
Of course you are required to take the burden of paying the difference, but Touch is cheaper than the Mogul, so no problem.

But as my post states, I've read that couple of those who were promised Touch on launch are getting e-mail telling them, it'll take some time until they will be able to ship Touch out to them. So I just wanted to find out what the status is with eCare, because I am really contemplating whether I should e-mail them asking for Touch OR just stick it out with Mogul until 2008 Q1 update.

After several emails with Ecare, I was told to go to my local store, purchase a Touch ON MY ACCOUNT, then contact ecare back, and they would send me a return kit. I did that last night, contacted ecare, and my return kit is on its way.

A little info, if your phone is over 30 days old, they will most likely not exchange it with out a fight. But the easy way to do it, is take your Mogul off ur account for a day, then call back in and swap it back over, all ecare does is look at the recent date.

What is the email address for ecare? when I use the support form on sprint.com it never works. I hit submit and it doesn't work. If I type a shorter message it sends.

ecare was nice enough to swap my mogul for a touch since I have been getting a warranty replacement of the mogul every 3 weeks since June. I was over the 30 day limit butt hey said they understand m,y problems and will swapped it out anyways. I should get a tracking nuber in 24 hours I was told.

Call in an tell them your going to leave sprint, they will transfer you to retentions, who are a lot easier to deal with, and will do quite a bit to try and keep you as a customer. Ive been reading in the other forums that people are getting their touches in a few days when they talk to retentions.
