I was told i have to have my phone taken into a shop
id have to take it in to get looked at, and confirmed that..yes my bluetooth does indeed succck. They said that if they deem the bt to be an issue they will issue me a touch as a replacement.
I have a feeling that if a tech at some local sprint shop listens to my bt and deems it acceptable then my account will state that the bt is fine and i will have an even harder time getting a phone with acceptable blue toofh. will e-care do a auto replacement swap with my mogul if i contact them? But as my post states, I've read that couple of those who were promised Touch on launch are getting e-mail telling them, it'll take some time until they will be able to ship Touch out to them. So I just wanted to find out what the status is with eCare, because I am really contemplating whether I should e-mail them asking for Touch OR just stick it out with Mogul until 2008 Q1 update. After several emails with Ecare, I was told to go to my local store, purchase a Touch ON MY ACCOUNT, then contact ecare back, and they would send me a return kit. I did that last night, contacted ecare, and my return kit is on its way.
A little info, if your phone is over 30 days old, they will most likely not exchange it with out a fight. But the easy way to do it, is take your Mogul off ur account for a day, then call back in and swap it back over, all ecare does is look at the recent date.

ecare was nice enough to swap my mogul for a touch since I have been getting a warranty replacement of the mogul every 3 weeks since June. I was over the 30 day limit butt hey said they understand m,y problems and will swapped it out anyways. I should get a tracking nuber in 24 hours I was told.

Call in an tell them your going to leave sprint, they will transfer you to retentions, who are a lot easier to deal with, and will do quite a bit to try and keep you as a customer. Ive been reading in the other forums that people are getting their touches in a few days when they talk to retentions.
