doode get another keyboard

I use tons of 3rd party virtual keyboards and theyre pretty sick.

PCM Keyboard
Happing Tapping Keyboard(with iphone layout)

Well I haven't got mine yet but it is ordered and I can't believe how fast they were.

I think I have the record for quickest response time in Ecare history, I finally decided tonight to go for the swap so I emailed them at 8:45 pm and already recieved an email back at 9:09 saying no problem.

Heck it was so fast I didn't even get a automated email recieved message from them, well I sure hope I like the Touch as much as I did in the store.

Oh and they offered me ANY handset I wanted, and I'm on SERO

Well, my touch arrived. At first i was skeptical of whether i would like it or not. Got used to no hardware keyboard EXTREMELY quickly (after installing SPB full screen keyboard).

The touch is a much more refined phone when compared to the Mogul. It feels good in your hands and there are no worries about running out of memory.

The bluetooth is night and day!!

The first person i called on my BT headset said that they couldn't tell that i was on a headset at all, much less a BT headset.

All in all, i am saying good bye to my Mogul and sticking with the Touch (until we have another 128mb option )

from the mogul to the touch

I just traded in my mogul and got the touch. i havent recieved it yet, but it should be here in a couple days. the mogul was a mess in my opinion. would have been a great phone if it did everything it was supposed to do well. now once i get my touch and activate it, do i get 30 days from the day i activate it to replace it with a different phone if it turns out to be a problem like the mogul was?

After seeing all these issues about the Touch in this forum, I'm not so sure that I want to make the switch

What issues are a deal breaker for you? I'm hard pressed to find a better alternative on the Sprint network.

To contribute to the thread topic: It took about two weeks for eCare to get my Touch to me. I originally intended to eBay it for over $400. By the time it got to my doorstep, the going rate was below $300. Glad I kept it in the end

I received my Touch this weekend and I do not see any issues that are discussed. This phone is incredible, easily the best I've ever had. It works how it should, it's snappy and powerful. I am in love with it.

To follow up on my story: eCare sent me to a 1-800 number to exchange my phone which after finally getting to retentions they ended up not having any Touches in stock. I called up my local Sprint store and they agreed to swap out the Mogul for the Touch retail price for retail price without a proof of purchase! This resulted in a $50 credit on my account and nothing out of pocket for the Touch!

One of the biggest problems with my Mogul is that the alarm doesn't go off when it's in sleep mode. This is such a standard feature on any phone, but I can't afford to have a phone that might go off when I need it to but won't always go off.

From reading other threads, I heard the alert problem still exists. Is it the same for you?

Other than that, you have you standard "but there's no physical keyboard" issue. But I'm more than willing to get through that learning curve. New gadgets = more fun.

I can't remember having the alarm problem (unless I set it for pm instead of am).
