Yes there is. Just add .wav file to your "My Ringtones" folder. I use the aol "You've got mail".

has anyone had a problem with internet explorer freezing while connecting and or freezing while opening it has been happening more and more often and can only be cured with a soft reset

i'm getting random crashes on this phone all the time now. today it froze three times.

it used to freeze like once a day when I was in opera or playing sudoku. now it's freezing when I hang up a phone call or am sending a text message.

this is very annoying, cause I just traded in my mogul for this phone, which at first I love but now the random crashes all the time are really really annoying. and when I say crash I mean nothing on the phone works, the screen freezes and I have to do a soft reset to get the phone back up running.

so now I'm thinking of taking this one back and giving the mogul another shot since they supposedly fixed the bluetooth issues, though i haven't been on here since the night the mogul update was released so i don't know if it is fixed or not.

I'm having a problem with my keypad.... When I wanna text message someone the keypad pops up, but closes right away.... I touch the "12" to pop it up again and the keypad comes up, but again goes away. I left the keypad open without touching it for a second and it worked for a short time (few words) but eff'd off again. I've soft reseted, but it didn't help.

Can anyone help me?

My touch will not play any ringtone when someone is calling me. It will vibrate if i have it on vibrate + ring, or it will just be silent if i have it on ring only. I can go to the phone settings and play the ringtone from that screen, but when receiving a call it does not play. Any ideas anyone? Thanks.

Well I read over the other posts and didn't find anybody else have the same problem as me...

Every time I open a text message, wether it be for typing up a new text message, or reading a new text message. The screen will open up at the very bottom of the text messaging window and I have to scroll up EVERY time. Like instead of the screen opening up viewing the blinking cursor to start typing your text, it will appear at the bottom of the screen and I will have to scroll up to see what I'm typing.

Same thing when viewing a text message, when the text message window opens up. It will open up waay down where I can't see the text that was received, so I'll have to scroll up to be able to see the received text.

Anybody has this happenin to them? Thanx in advance...

Anybody noticed that the data transfer speed to the MicroSD card while it is installed in the phone is almost 10 times slower than using your computer and a MicroSD to SD converter? The phone's specs show that it is USB 2.0 Full Speed compatible and supports MicroSD 2.0... Did they forget another driver in addition to the video driver?

I know this is something small, but one thing I miss from the good old WM5 days or just WM in general is the Gesture features included in the standard keyboard. It seems that when HTC designed the new touch keyboard for the phone, they didn't include those Gestures which include:
Enter - Swipe finger down
Space - Swipe finger right
Backspace - Swipe finger left
Shift - Swipe finger up while on a letter

Of all Gestures the most useful and my favorite was the shift, but I'd like to see them all come back to the newly designed touch keyboard for both the 20 and 40 key models.

If you feel the same, let HTC know by writing them an email at their main site as I did.

UNcheck the box in the 'Settings|Connections|USB to PC' applet.
