Re: Sprint HTC Touch - Bugs, complaints, etc.

I've still got one nagging problem after flashing the leaked rom and OMJ's OEM. I have an indicator that says I have 1 unread email in my inbox when in fact my inbox is empty. The status bar says 0 items 1 unread. Is there a way to get rid of that? I tried clearing the account to no avail.

I am having this problem too. There have been a few times where I had to recalibrate more then once a day but typically it only needs to be done monthly. Anyone else?

Re: Sprint HTC Touch - Bugs, complaints, etc.

OK, I searched this thread and didn't see a problem like this. If I overlooked it forgive me.

So my Touch has been working fine/rings fine and all but today for the first time I plugged in my headset to listen to music. Now my ringer will not sound. Anyone have this issue and is there a fix besides Hard Reset?

You're phone keeps turning on to airplane mode right, just randomly when using the phone? My guess is, that your end key is set to do that function when held for 3 seconds...assuming thats the case, my phone is doing the same thing.

Whatever I have the "end key function" set for (quick list, lock device, airplane mode on/off, terminate data connection) keeps happening when I'm texting, making calls surfing the webs etc. Its SOOO annoying, just seeing if you've fixed it and know how i can.

Its almost like the end key is randomly pressing itself. Sometimes it stops for a few hours and other times it will do it 25 times in 2 minutes.

Anyone have this problem, or better yet a solution?

HTC TOUCH

thanks

Re: Sprint HTC Touch - Bugs, complaints, etc.

I have 2 issues... the first is with my screen and its almost like there is a square in the middle that has the same look of gas in water, the kind of weird looking colors, it is mainly there under florescent lights, but i do see it more often then not...

the second issue is that sometimes when i go to select an email or text message or anything really, i select many things, almost like what the "insert" button does in windows where it highlights everything instead of what you want to select..

anyone else have any of these issues?

Re: Sprint HTC Touch - Bugs, complaints, etc.

Ok, my complaint is likely more around Windows Mobile.

I have some contacts that have two cell phones, or the contact listing is a couple with two phones. Is the only way to have an option to text the 2nd cell phone to create a separate contact and populate the "mobile" number? It seems ridiculous in this day and age that there would be "car," "pager," etc... but only ONE mobile number.

Re: Sprint HTC Touch - Bugs, complaints, etc.

I have a 4gb SDHC memory card and all of a sudden it shows that it is 95% full (only about 50 mg left). I've gone up and down the directory deleting almost everything I can except my music which is less than 1 gig. I've checked every single folder but cannot account for almost 3 gigs! And I cannot free up anymore space on it to download podcasts etc like I used to.

Any ideas????
