Sprint HTC Touch - Bugs, complaints, etc.

I have scanned through the posts on this thread and didn’t find anyone talking about this one. It started Friday my screen calibration keeps getting off. I have had to recalibrate 10 times over the last 2 days, I have remover my screen protector to see if this makes a difference (didn’t), than did a hard reset. I did the reset yesterday and had to recalibrate this morning, anyone else having issues with screen calibration

This happens to me too. I have narrowed it down to the lock phone. I had mine set to 15 minutes. Well if I was on the phone for longer than 15 minutes I would get the symtoms you mentioned. Might be a WM6 problem not sure.

Complaint:

I have the tri-messenger app. i use YIM the most but i get a weird code 504 error. it seems that it logs me on the accound but thats it. it saz > Getting contact list " and then 30 secs later i get the error code 504.

anyone have a clue ? my msn works fine

I have 2 PCs that I sync to, one with Vista, one with XP. When I first got my Touch I was able to sync to both without problem. But then after a few days I couldn't sync to either. I had installed several 3rd party apps and figured that one of them was causing problems so I figured it was time to hard reset and start over.

I was able to sync again after that so I decided to be a little more cautious about installing apps. Only installed the critical ones that I really use and got rid of the crap that I was just playing with or checking out. No problems for several days and then all of sudden, having problems again without installing anything new. This time around though I only seem to have problems with Vista, XP seems to be ok. Weird thing is sometimes it will sync and sometimes it won't. It will even come and go frequently while leaving the cable connected continously.

I know Vista has some USB connection problems but I am not having problems with any other USB device. I got to believe that something on the Touch is causing the dropouts.

One other thing that I will add, even during the times that I can not make a USB connection between Vista and Touch the pc still recognizes that something got plugged in and beeps, it just doesn't know what device. Also the Touch does always charge off the USB even though there is no connection showing up in device manager.

Any thoughts on what might be causing this?

Settings|Connections|'USB to PC' UNcheck the box.

My phone randomly decided not to wake up from sleep today. I didn't have any applications running and the only customized thing on my Today screen is that I customized the HTC home plugin with HHC.

Had to soft reset. I hope this isn't a sign of things to come...

this is my first experience with combo of pda/phone. iwhile i'm pleased with the touch, i'm a little frustrated with the programming. it seems as though the sprint programs fail. a rep sent the tv cab to me and all has been well ever since (although this occured within a week of having the product). within the last few days, i've lost the push client, mail watch and one page for on demand. this is the second time i've lost the push client for email. is there any place to download the sprint apps.

NO problems with Active Sync here (win XP) via USB.
SD card slot is not bad. How often do you take it out anyway.

What I don't like is the keyboard. I'm getting use to it now, but it slows me down especially when you don't use common words like names and etc.

I now have a dark spot on the screen, picture still shows but it looks almost as if there is a small, penny sized shadow in one area. Any ideas?

I have one very weird issue: I am not receiving text messages ove Verizon networks. I can receive texts sent online (through sprint), and have received texts from people on AT&T/cingular networks, but NOT from two other users on Verizon. Any ideas?
