I had the same problem, not sure how the card popped out in the first place though.
Thanks that fixed my problem, im not sure how the card got depressed but at least its fixed now!

My HTC Touch operates at a very slow speed, so I would like to unable the Fouch Flow interface. Does anyone knows to do this? My knowledge about registry etc. is fairly non excistent.

Angry HTC TOUCH 6900 piece of garbage.

Hello, New here.

I live in the USA.
I purchased the HTC Touch 6900. I have NOTHING but problems.
It freezes, the bluetooth headset freezes, it just sucks.
I am on the phone to tech support almost everyday.
I miss calls by the dozens because it freezes up all the time.
I have to soft reboot it about 6 times a day.
I am now getting ready to throw it off a bridge.

I called Sprint and they are willing to replace it with a Mogul
the Treo 700wx or the Blackberry 8830 if they can't fix it.
The problem is, you can't fix it.
What a piece of crap.

Anyone have any ideas?
Please!

this is definitely not the norm....I have not seen anyone post having all these issues...if it's that bad, have Sprint replace it, sounds like it was bad right outa box.

Agreed, get another 6900 (Vogue, Touch) before jumping ship to another device. I am nothing but happy with my device.

google resco file explorer. download and install the latest version. download and install the registry add-in. (you could also use another reg editor, but i use this one, it works great, and you're probably gonna want resco anyway).

in resco registry, navigate to HKEY_Local_Machine\Software\OEM\TFLOSettings ( you can also dis/enable the cube here, or change the finger pressure key to 9000, said to be the most optimal setting)
change "EnableScroll" from 1 to zero (in decimal).

good luck.

also another suggestion. before disabling touchflo entirely, i would recommend making sure that the scrolling SOUND is disabled, this tends to make things a lot smoother and more fluid. you can disable this by unchecking the "enable sound while panning" or whatever in start -> settings -> system -> TouchFLO

Played with a most recent build Touch at store (built on 01/08/0, and noticed something new regarding to build quality.

1. Water wave still there. No improvement at all.
2. The "talk" and "end" button are now raised a bit more than my Nov 07 Touch which feels more comfy to press
3. The stylus is snugged over-tightly, you simply cannot take it out without using finger nail to pry it.
4. The TF card slot cover cannot be closed perfectly. Kinda like tilted, the upper side is protruding a little bit out from the side surface, while the lower side is perfectly aligned.

Based on the experiences with HTC, I would say the build quality and quality control is just crap. I've finally experienced a crappier build quality than Motorola.

I just hate the fact the "end" key will not end my calls. I have to hit it at least three times to get it to work. Also no MMS...ugh.

The end key will end your calls, but only if the screen is still on. If your screen has turned itself off during a call your first press of the red button will wake up the screen. The second press will end the call.

So if you know you're about to end a long call, reach up with your finger and press the power button before you say goodbye and then your screen will be awake and ready to end the call when you press the red key.
