The new 2.03 PRI is what is locking the GPS, plus a few other things I am sure I dont know about. It seems flashing to a custom ROM might do it but there has been alot of inconsistent information.

So my reflash of 6.1 didn't do the trick? That is as far as I have gone and I am waiting for more input from others. I haven't tried aGPS yet, Should I? Will it be to no avail?. I stopped customization on 2nd flash then had to reactivate my phone. I also; like niteriderxp, don't understand why a reflash doesn't completely remove the original 6.1 flash? I hope between all of us there can be a solution. thanks leslie

That is HOW i did it .... my phone is not bricked... but use at own risk ...

LEslie ...as soon as you get your today screen a popup window appears ... with the 3 sec customization ... i dont even let it go that far... as soon as im at the 1st GREEN screen where it tells you to tap to begin i reset there ! ... sorry to here u had problems ...

That is why I flashed to the ALLTEL rom ..that give u the 1.37 PRI !!! The BELL rom SAYS it will give you the 2.03 PRI !! just reflash using the ALLTEL rom ..try that ...

I seem to be getting a lot more call drops with the 3.77.xx radio than I was with the 3.42.50. :P

Followed your instructions too Jackie but no love for me. I am trying to determine why this is the case. Its very confusing at best. So for my brain could you once again list your steps.

I am so unclear at this point, sorry. I did a rom flash again and stopped the customization when the bar was reading HTC blah blah at the bottom. I am not sure if I stopped it or not. Is there a way to test? Should I try aGPS or Valhalla? I really dont want to reactivate? thanks and help!

NO too late ...u supposed to have pressed it like AS SOON AS it loaded the HOME SCREEN >>> then a windows pop up telling u it will customize in 3 sec ... look guys ... PRESS SOFTRESET at the where it tells you to correct the time and date ... !!

If you let customizations run when u shouldnt have then i would suggest you follow what i did ...

So I should do another flash? then stop customization (PRESS SOFTRESET at the where it tells you to correct the time and date ) and then reactivate. This last reactivation was a bit of a hassle, is verizon noting all these resets? thanks leslie
