You can also just open Opera and press the hard END key. It'll minimize it and you'll be able to open it again using the task manager drop down.

Also think I should reply to this .. I honestly dont know why it happens.. I noticed it too because I exited Opera and it dropped the connection and I was like "what the hell was that?"..

I guess thats why people are having issues with DirectPush because the connection drops.. Its a registry key that makes it drop after i think 5 seconds of not being used...

I will find it and post a fix for it

alright, i've got a problem...i flashed the 2.3 rom to my touch, and everything looks good, but it is running extremely slow on my phone. ive been hearing quite the opposite about this rom, so im quite curious as to how i could fix this problem...i tried hard reset after flash, but still no luck...any help is greatly appreciated

Not sure if this is helpful for the MS Direct Push issue, but it worked flawlessly for me in dette 2.0.

I thought that may have been the culprit when I noticed that happening on Vet's 2.4.5. I'll re-flash and give it a shot if/when you find that registry key. I'm happy to help debug.

You're not having issues answering calls anymore? It looked like it was working better for me for the first call or two, but after that it started taking a long time to answer (which results in a missed call pretty often, too). I'm on Sprint - maybe dcd fixed the bug in the Verizon carrier cab and not the Sprint? *shrug*

Good rom, a few problems Ive been having...

Windows media player keeps crashing... especially when trying to steam media.
Data connection sometimes disconnects... is there an always on feature?
I dont like the *tick* sound it make when opening up a menu

Everything else is pretty much on point.
I love the option to remove the clock and call history from the today screen another rom I had used didnt have that option... that big *** clock is an eye sore lol

Use streaming media to stream video... It should be default..
I am working on the data issue.. I believe its whats stopping MS DirectPush

The tick is just a reg settings

I am on Sprint so its not his verizon cab.. I dont use verizon

Thats just plain.. Weird.. You are on Alltel? I dont have an answer I am sorry.. I have never encountered that

I tried using streaming media ... it gets to buffering 100% and then sits there.....

Streaming Media works perfectly for me.. Try using TCPMP.. I included a lot of options lol
