I saw this post yesterday (http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=40727) and was wondering if you could include this reg edit in your latest version? I hate putting my phone in my pocket with it in an active mode when listening to music. Also I know that right now there does not appear to be anyway to make the interenet browsers work in landscape mode while the rest of hte phone is in portrait. With S2P you can slide your finger down the side and it converts to landscape. Would you know how this is done and is there is a way to pull the function out and tie it to a browser? Thanks for all your hard work and looking forward to your next update (and updates to come).

alright, tried the beta, and when put to evdo only, it tries to connect to the home tower as if i put it in home only mode and will not get signal..... like it thinks it has to be in home only mode to get the evdo

alright! awesome news ... for me that is.... i fixed the evdo problem on the touch..... in epst settings, the hdr auth password was set to the wrong esn...... your hdr auth password is your esn.... well, my phones esn differs from what it was originally... when i changed the esn... did 228 option 3... it apparently updates everything except for the hdr auth password...... just to let ppl know in case they do the same thing as me.... anyways, thanks for the help guys

hey, heres something interesting i figured out... alright, i took my htc touch that is not on my account and out of service because i have 2 touch's and only 1 line of service... and i changed the hdr auth password for the evdo to the password of the one that is in service..... the pass is the esn, you can change it in epst (##778 send) and the internet worked on it..... it worked with it having just the hdr password set.... the actual esn of the phone was still unchanged and out of service... i could not make calls, but could use the evdo... interesting.... now, if i used evdo on both phones at the same time, or evdo on one and voice on the other at the same time, would alltel be able to see this? cuz if it just checks the pass, i would think that it doesnt check the esn of the phone..... i was wondering because i thought it would be nice to be able to teher the one that just gets data to the comp for internet and still be able to talk on the other one at the same time...... cuz i have to tether, i dont have seperate internet service.....

Still working on this, I am very close, Down to an issue with one or two programs. Should be fixed soon, and then uploaded after that. I will post the HTC Classic in post #2. I did add the suspend registry for audiomanager.

Manilla version will be out on monday.

Okay I cant seem to get this, Something with the new alltel rom, I cant seem to install any programs, when I do install them, they do not show up in the program list, I am not sure why this is, I am flashing a very bare-bone rom now and hope that it works. I just cant seem to get this, so It might not be out today, but I am going to try my best to make it so.

Well now my phone is not wanting to turn on at all. So I am not sure what is going on, It wont even boot on after i take the battery out or anything, So for now i am just going to stop for the day. I am sorry for holding everyone up on this one.

con, or anyone who knows........i need to send a phone back for warranty replacement.... so i need to take imcokemans unlocker off.... heres what i did....downgraded to sprints 6.0 rom.....replaced the 2.31 unlocker with the 0.40..... then installed alltels latest 6.1 gps rom....... but had to flash the alltel rom twice cuz the first time, it only listed the radio version and osmething else on the first htc screen when u turn it on.... it had nothing in red on the left side and i knew it did before... it worked succesfully, but my question is, did i do that the right way? cuz i saw this on imcokemans post: WARNING: Attempting to downgrade after GPS (3.xx) upgrade can cause (at least as of now) bricking of devices (I have a dead mogul and vogue to prove it!) Also: titan GPS radio on vogue = bad idea

and if i understand that right, thats exactly what i did.... did i do it the right way? and if not did i just get really lucky not to brick my phone? this was the only way that made sense to me because i knew the 0.40 unlocker did not work with the gps readio and it did not have the write protection thing that 2.31 unlcoker has..... btw, the sprint rom i used to downgrade was this one: RUU_Vogue_SPRINT_WWE_1.12.651.1_2.13.00_SPC_NV133_ Ship

I got everything working, I am testing out a newer build of opera now, Not sure if i like it or not, so i am unsure about it. I will have to test that some more. but for now I am going to take a nap, and when i get back, I will test it again, if everything works I will upload everytihng.

i know i should probly be posting in the 'official alltel 6.1 update' but this is pretty much the only thread i religously check and have interest in..con and the others are very knowledgable and kind people..anyways... but i flashed to alltels new 6.1 official, and actually love it and cant wait till you build something incredible from it. but i have a question..i use spbBackup. i ionly use it for contacts backup. i dont know if its specifically spbBackup, but when i install my contacts to a fresh flash'd rom, when i get an incoming call, i can see the caller ID's NUMBER, but the persons name about it is like 90% blured out. I guess I will try to re manually add numbers and see if its SPB or its its ROM specific.
