Re: Vogue 19588 Kitchen

HAHA if you would have read throughout this thread you would have an answer. It's supposed to be 3.02 for now. And don't worry aGPS still works with the update

So, at the risk of sounding like a jerk, if you look closely, what I provided as an example and what you responded with are not the exact same thing.

Your ROM version (the last line) is 3.04 ... AFAIK, this would only occur in three instances:
1) The Altell released rom
2) DCDs 3.0.2 ROM/Kitchen (from XDA-developers)
3) An interim Vogue_19588.rar kitchen file that was available for a short period of time (30 min ?) but was later replaced.

Regarding item 3: I don't pretend to know the detailed difference between those two kitchen files, but one thing observable is that the bad one had a rom version of 3.04, where the good one reports a rom version of 3.02.
my 3.04 was a typo; I have 3.02. It took practically all day but this is what I came up with. Vogue 19588 boots fine for me unless I add O2 Plus to the rom. Not sure why that's the case, as that application does not cause the same won't boot problem when cooked into the no2chem kitchen. SO... if you're using the new vogue kitchen and your phone won't boot out of the last splash, check to see if you have O2 Plus included. If so, build without it and see what happens.
And Boggsie, thanks for trying to help. And you didn't sound like a jerk.

Re: Vogue 19588 Kitchen

Am I right in assuming that the only difference between this kitchen and the other 3.02 kitchen is a more updated WM build? I recently flashed to the new official sprink leaked rom and wanting to rebuild with the kitchen. Would my GPS performance stay the same if I flashed the new leaked rom? My GPS seems to lock much faster than before the update. Or would I have to run all the various hacks again like PPST and etc...

I don't know the exact differences, I am curious also.

GPS should be the same. I upgraded the radio to the new one. Tried out the new kitchen and then switched back to the 3.02 kitchen as I find it more stable... These roms don't touch the radio so you should be just fine.

Hope that helps..

It looks like all it is is a new window build. Is this the one that JD put together? And what are the differences in winmo build 19208 and 19588??
