Don't know if this makes a difference - that's what it says after flashing with the no2chem kitchen. I was loading the same apps, so I'm not sure what to make of it. Obviously there's a conflict somewhere.

Well, I can't speak to other scenarios as to why something did or did not work. I can only try to help with this particular situation.

So, at the risk of sounding like a jerk, if you look closely, what I provided as an example and what you responded with are not the exact same thing.

Your ROM version (the last line) is 3.04 ... AFAIK, this would only occur in three instances:
1) The Altell released rom
2) DCDs 3.0.2 ROM/Kitchen (from XDA-developers)
3) An interim Vogue_19588.rar kitchen file that was available for a short period of time (30 min ?) but was later replaced.

Regarding item 3: I don't pretend to know the detailed difference between those two kitchen files, but one thing observable is that the bad one had a rom version of 3.04, where the good one reports a rom version of 3.02.

Here is what you need in order to build a 19588 ROM:

Via Updater = Via Manual Download
Vogue Carrier Kitchen files = Carriers_Vogue.rar,
Vogue Drivers = Drivers_Vogue.rar,
Generic OEM Kitchen files (all devices) = Generic_OEM.rar,
19588 QVGA Kitchen files (all QVGA devices) = SYS_19588_QVGA.rar,
Vogue 19588 kitchen base = Vogue_19588.rar

And then, as gguruusa indicated, build a rom without any selections, to ensure the process is working as expected.

So, are you reporting that the manual code entry in the dialer isn't working, or are you reporting that the application I mention isn't working?

If you build a rom with the application I mentioned, does it work for you?

Manual phone codes aren't working. Not really a big deal because you really don't need them that often. I haven't tried the oem... But the Vogue dialer works with other bases. It worked fine ine 3.02 and eariler...

Ok I got this little problem, when I press build, it goes through everything, when it gets to "Extracting: kitchens\PPCGeeks_OEM.rar" it gives me a message: "kitchens\PPCGeeks_OEM.rar
File Creation Error."

The cooking just stops with it. I downloaded the new files this morning, and I have no clue why I get that message. I've built ROM's in the kitchen previously, with the 3.02 version, and it was fine.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Oh btw, I replaced some of the dlls in the Vogue_drivers.rar with the new ones form the Sprint stock ROM, but I don't think that should be a problem.

Everything works great. I did notice that the battery is missing from the "Call Status" part of the dialer. I get a blank white box where the battery is....

I am using the newest vogue dialer. Only happens with the new kitchen...


Anyone else see this also. It doesn't always show up but it keeps happening...

finished cooking and reverted back to the official rom. i noticed that it said i was replacing a 3.02 firmware. is that right? ive updated my kitchen, shouldnt that have said 3.03?
