Are you skipping customizations? Mine did this when I didn't run PPST.exe

now it runs perfect... I've gone days without soft-resetting now, and it still works in less than 15 seconds, every time...

Re: NEW official Sprint ROM posted on XDA-dev by DCD

I would like to know if anyone else is having the same problem. It seems like my cell signal has dropped a bit since the update. I was over at my sisters house and the signal there is usually low but this last time after the update it was going from 1 bar to roam the whole time I was there. and sig at home has dropped a bar or so. Also when the phone goes into roam it turns on the screen and Im wondering if there is a way to make the screen Not turn on?

drl123,

From your post above it sounds like the final ROM from Sprint may be slightly different then the leaked ROM. Did you get that impression from the CSR? I hope I don't have to do another ROM upgrade.

Re: NEW official Sprint ROM posted on XDA-dev by DCD

no one knows if this is official or not yet. It may change it may not. But this is for sure a 100% ROM from sprint, not a pieced together one.

so far ive had great success with the new ROM and great gps locks

anyone having a weird sound while on a call and u get another incoming call... its like 3-4 loud beeps then the normal call waiting beep... this happen back when the alltel rom came out but the sound was different... its worst now... i flashed two different touches and they both make the same sound now.

Yep, I'm getting that too and it's quite jarring when you get a call waiting announcement. Certainly can't miss it I guess.

I've seen some others talk about this on some of the other leaked roms and no one seems to have a fix for it unfortunately.

Re: NEW official Sprint ROM posted on XDA-dev by DCD

took the plunge, have been researching for a while. Decided to use the 'official' since no unlocking required. My computer was being weird, so active sync was connected, but only as a guest, so no contact update or anything. Even so, w/o a 'full' connection to activesync, just clicked the exe file and it upgraded perfectly, no issues. I now have gps, which is the only thing i really wanted.

thanks guys
