If you look back in the thread, I posted a cab of a version of HTC home that works with this rom.

Original ROM should be on the ftp. Search should find it posted somewhere here too. I have a copy for "special occasions" like that. It's a good idea to get it and keep a copy for emergencys like this.

I'm just throwing this out here ... not sure, so I thought I would ask ...

The original ROM is non-gps, non-Rev.A, isn't it?

The original ROM requires a different boot-loader, doesn't it?

I'd rather as the question and be wrong, than not ask the question and have dzuchowski screw things up, because I didn't think to ask.

Best regards,
-boggsie

1) Yes it is non-gps, non-Rev A.

2) The stock ROM shouldn't need anything other than the RUU .exe to flash, since it is a signed ROM.

3) I bet you could also use the latest official release too, since it is technically a stock ROM and I'd bet there would be no questions asked.

Okee dokee - I just recall that some of the supplementary boot loaders could not be overwritten and I think the 2.x series for the Vogue (from Coke) will remain, even after a signed/oem RUU flash. If they (sprint service) kicks it out into BL and sees ImCoKeMan on the BL screen, they might just balk.

Again, I'm not absolutely certain, but I would rather ask and get shot down than the alternative.

Thanks for chiming in!

Yeah if the coke unlocker doesn't get overwritten it could possibly cause problems, but I have read of folks getting refurbs with coke unlockers. I guess it depends on what has been done to it, but I'd that the stock ROM should be good to go. Or, there's the ol' microwave fix.....
