Re: NEW official Sprint ROM posted on XDA-dev by DCD

Suppose I might try here. I tried to get the audio tab back on the HTC Home plugin. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\HTCHome
Add new string,
Tabsetting = 1,2,3,4,5,6

1 = Clock tab
2 = Favorite People tab
3 = Weather tab
4 = Launcher tab
5 = Music tab
6 = Profiles tab

And then I deleted:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\OEM\MASD\Quickdial

After a soft reset, I can't seem to get the music tab to show up. Even installed HHC to try and get it to work, but still its a no go.

I've noticed my phone seems to be going into roaming more often than before. I'll have it in my pocket and it'll switch to roaming where it never did it before.

After I upgraded the ROM, it didn't update my PRL, so I manually upgraded it to 60613. I haven't tried going back to 60612, but if its a known issue with 60613, I might try going back.

Here is the cab that will fix this for you. You get all the Tabs (including Music) except for the Contacts tab. Just extract, place cab in your Touch and execute. Youre welcome

Just Curious. I know there are PPC Anti-Virus programs, but What PPC viruses actually exsist? I haven't seen or heard of anyone ever being infected by one. Here's one of many threads that I found on this topic through Google search:

In any event, once you fully customize and setup your phone, make sure you Sprite Backup it. Then if you ever have any "virus" issues, all you need to do is a hard reset and restore from your Sprite Backup file.

Hope this was of some help.

You have got to be kidding me...I could have just added a new string to get the new tab...I just kept installing the 2.1 HTC Plug-in.....

I bet if someone really wanted to they could make one.....but PDA/PPC's are very small and don't carry barely any information besides Contacts....that would be the only useful information, and maybe text and a phone list , besides that, a PC virus is much more useful because PC's contain your life

Re: NEW official Sprint ROM posted on XDA-dev by DCD

I have problems using pocket Outlook and Gmail, whatever I tried it wouldn't let me get my mail. Reflashed then did a hard reset and let the custimization run. Set up my Gmail account and let the Auto Config run, then did it manually and still won't let me in. Relashed to OMJs 3.03 and it works fine.

Re: NEW official Sprint ROM posted on XDA-dev by DCD

Thanks CANOFSPAM for bringing this over to PPCGEEKS and thanks to DCD for the original post at XDA. I can't even report anything on this as I flashed it and before doing anything flashed straight over to VETVITO diamond base ROM so hopefully a combination of the two will be sweeettt.
