I have a few more questions about your rom.

1. I cant seem to find transcriber, is there something I need to do?

2. it seems that text message and sms are the same, before text messaging was seperate. Is this part of wm6.1 threading feature? or am I missing something to change in the registry?

thanks! GPS works like a champ! Biking is going to be so much easier now finding good routes. would like to find some kind of plug in for live or google maps that has updated bike paths.

found transcriber

i think this is the same one, if you know of a different one let me know please, cant tell if its the same
The sms/mms is fine. you will eventually see why it is better
garmin and tomtom can do offroad gps. they cost money though. I actually didn't add transcriber into my rom. BTW that link is dead lol

Dont apologize at all! If it wasn't for you I wouldn't even have the opportunity to have GPS. It's just weird that it stopped working. I thought at first it was cuz of the rain and stuff we were having, but now the skies are pretty clear so I wasnt sure. It would get a fix in less than 10 secs last night. It's weird.

My pagepool size may be too low. currently 16MB. im gonna test some more tonight. I don't get it, I flashed mine with the exact same rom and It's been the most stable rom i've had to date

Exclamation Re: Upgrading Tutorial For Verizon XV6900!!! Radio 3.42.30 with working GPS

Hey Everyone,

Ok I am in need of some help here. I have completed the flash and went through the whole tutorial worked great! Thanks it was a huge help! I am having some issues though and wanted to see if anyone else is also.

First, I have trouble sending a picture message out but I can recieve pics and data (internet) works just fine.

It's extremely wierd but when I send a picture/video message it is about a 20% chance the reciepent will get it. When and if they do it comes from a different mobile number than mine. Lol, im guessing the Rom was preconfigured with some guys number and now my phone is! Any thoughts???

I originally ran the Verizon setup cab file and then data would not work so I manually configured it.

The second isssue is that when i delete text messages then reboot my phone they appear again! It will not delete text message permantly!

Background Info

Verizon HTC Touch

Used the Sprint Rom from this tutorial to flash with.

Then used PPCKitchen buildOS util to cook custom rom.
I also specifed verizon carrier within the buildos tool.

Sorry for the paper I just wrote but any help would great!

Thanks!
