I am on the 5067 ROM kitchen now. Do I need to do anything before I begin the steps? Since I am already there do I need to flash at the end?

Im not sure this will work with the Titan, spetrillo, but you can try. Now, you dont have to flash at the end now

No worries...one last question. Why would you think this would work for the VZW Touch users? Is it something in the software that is not on the Titan?

Re: Sprint still having GPS problems? Try this!

Ok, one thing for sure bell users are not the same as Telus users... 2 times i did run ppst cab and exe in both alltell and sprint rom and both did not cause any problem to my phone... In every attemp my pri was upgraded to 2.03 even after soft reset and never had those itoa errors nor did i have to do the steps supplied by ghettofreeryder to get rid of them...

Any other bell brutha confirm this? or i was just damn lucky 4 times?

Re: Sprint still having GPS problems? Try this!

sput, when you say working phone do you mean voice incoming and outgoing, data works, etc? Have you looked at the gps to see if it worked? I thought of 2 things last night for you to check:
1) settings: phone:services:location setting = on
2) settings:external gps: program port=com 4, hardware=none, baud=4800, manage gps=checked

You may have already checked these but just in case.

Confirmed. I've also run it multiple times with no problems afterwards.

Re: Sprint still having GPS problems? Try this!

So for all the bell users, have you noticed any improvement in the gps?

For me, minimal... the GPS does behave properly (from stand-by, etc)... and lock time is regularly under a minute. I get about the same number of satellite locks though.... I was hoping to improve that.

Before I do this, exactly which ppst cab did you run because from my reading, there are a couple floating out there.

Which radio gives you the best performance? THe alltel or Sprint one?

THanks.
