Have you looked on HTC's site? And, why wouldnt it work? Also, how are you verifying that the roms are corrupted?

HTC's web site does not have the Touch ROM, only the Mogul and 6700. Neither rom in this site works. If you run the .exe it gets half way through installing and says it's corrupt. I've tried on two different computers and downloaded it a half a dozen times. When trying to extract files from those roms with unrar I get the same..... corrupt. I'm stuck with a useless phone till someone can point me at a working Sprint stock rom.

Not sure why you are having problems. However, it is quite obvious that there are plenty of people who have been able to download and install the upgrade.

Nothing wrong with the leaked rom rar. Are you using the most current version of winrar?

Interesting that this isn't being auto-run during customizations..

EDIT: it does run PPST.EXE during customizations.. Why run it again?

But admittedly, you didn't run the complete flash either, but rather extracted the nbh and customized prior to?

Same thing I said, except I just went and did it to see why.

It looks like the customizations update/patch something in the PPST.EXE while it's running and then finishes, but doesn't rerun it after it is patched.

So I went ahead and ran it, it updated my PRI from 1.03_003 to 2.03_003.

I did this too. Did you take the PPST____2.cab from the Sprint leaked EXE file?

If so this is what I realized. It doesn't update your PRI and gives you a PRL that doesn't work. If you update your PRL after running that ppst.exe you'll be working again. I'm trying to get someone with the Sprint leaked rom to give me a copy of default.ppst because I believe that's the file that ppst.exe uses to update the PRI. As far as prl i'm just going to rename my 60711.prl to 20230.prl and dump it in the windows folder.

Don't know what you are doing with the CAB. There is no need to use or do anything with that file. The Customizations do what's needed with that file.

All you need to do is once it's done and reboots, is look for the PPST.EXE file in the windows directory, which will be hidden, so you have to tell file explorer to show all files, and run it. Soft Reset and check your PRI.


Also the latest and newest PRL is 60612, 60711 is older and for data cards.
