HTC's web site does not have the Touch ROM, only the Mogul and 6700. Neither rom in this site works. If you run the .exe it gets half way through installing and says it's corrupt. I've tried on two different computers and downloaded it a half a dozen times. When trying to extract files from those roms with unrar I get the same..... corrupt. I'm stuck with a useless phone till someone can point me at a working Sprint stock rom.

You now don't need to unlock if you want to use the kitchen because it uses the leaked ROM as a base? If that's the case then there's absolutely no reason for these guys to worry

Not sure why you are having problems. However, it is quite obvious that there are plenty of people who have been able to download and install the upgrade.

You will need to unlock to flash any custom roms. Anything that we create will not be digitally signed.

Have you tried downloading either of the two stock roms? Perhaps they have recently gotten corrupted. Another post toward the end of the stock rom thread notes the same experience with corruption. If you can point me to another copy of that rom i'd be happy to test it.

Colonel... any ideas what might be causing the phone not to wake for texts, etc for some of us?

Hello Everyone...

I was so happy with the new rom... until I started installing a couple software, such as CMcontacts and VoiceCommand... when I click on start settings, it freezes the phone...

I hard reset 4 times already, installed different software, and it freezes when I click on settings...

ANyone experiencing this? What can I do?

Everyone else works fine...

I also noticed that the video driver (i think) is not really fast (like scrolling PROGRAMS up and down), with Mustan ROM it was much better, but I guess I can live with that... but the freezing when going to settings... that is killing me!

That would be the older versions of voice command that are causing your problems with Settings.

Not really. Unless I can replicate it here or you can find the cause, there is little I can tell you.
