Re: Vogue GPS 3.02 Kitchen (w/ NEW Sprint Leaked ROM)

Yeah im using vista 64 ultimate and im not having any issues. Once you plug your phone into your machine make sure you let vista do its updates. also you want to install Windows mobile device center. Can either get it from http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobi...icecenter.mspx

Re: Vogue GPS 3.02 Kitchen (w/ NEW Sprint Leaked ROM)

Great work here guys. I started with the leaked ROM, built a few in the kitchen, and then decided to go back to the leaked ROM. I like the OZ instant messenger and music store so I allowed all customizations to run. I have a sprint so I knew it would be ok. It seems I have gotten the best results with the leaked ROM and adding my own programs. TouchPal installed just fine, spb backup, SkyFire, WM6 RDP, Music ID, I have nice VPN client that works with cisco PIX firewalls called Bluefire, HHC customizer, and some of nue's programs. All is working great! GPS is a quick lock in Live Search (I added the .dll from post one) and worked after coming out of standby just fine. I will wait a couple of days now and see how the battery is. I use it pretty frequently so hopefully its good. I have 2 things to add to the discussion in case folks are wondering...

TouchPal was downloaded directly from www.cootek.com from my phone. I downloaded the cab after selecting WM 6.1 for my OS. I didnt remember doing that before (having to select either 5, 6, or 6.1). It also mentioned that TouchPal should not be installed in the extended rom but the SD card or main memory.

Those of you on exchange this works great with the new System Center Mobile Device Manager 2008. You can read about what it does here: http://www.microsoft.com/systemcente...e/default.mspx
I wiped my touch with a touch of a button! You dont need SCMDM 2008 for that though. Exchange 2003 with SP2 and above has that functionality.

Speed...well, lets just say its the fastest I have EVER experienced. I live in South Jersey and had the Touch tethered with my wireless off using ICS.

The .exe seems to be bad. I can manually replace the exe and it will work after flash.... But it is a pain..

I did and it worked fine. Download the newest Mobile Center software from Microsoft and that should clear up the issue. http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobi...icecenter.mspx

EDIT: kski71 beat me to it.

Odd. both the leaked version and the kitchen installed just fine for me.. try running the .exe as admin..

Right click on file name > choose run as admin

Re: Vogue GPS 3.02 Kitchen (w/ NEW Sprint Leaked ROM)

I don't know if this is a bug or just me, but there seems to be no way to turn off the built in word completion. Its the one with the black bar that shows above where you type and has the little + icon to the right to add words. I've unchecked all the options under word completion but it still pops up...
