Vogue GPS 3.02 Kitchen (w/ NEW Sprint Leaked ROM)

Just an FYI for anyone trying the leaked Sprint ROM (not the kitchen)...

I tried this and it appears to work:
- Download the GPS drivers from the sticky (http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/attachment...4&d=1210043120)
- Copy JUST the virser_gps.dll file into /Windows
- Download the GPSKickStart (http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/attachment...7&d=1209852151) and put it in your /Windows/Startup folder

Now when you soft reset, the GPS Service and Device run and it looks like it gets locks too.

so what are your impressions of the sprint rom? i'm currently on jd's hybrid rom and everything seems to work ok. is there a good reason to switch to the sprint one? any differences in internet speed, signal strength or gps?

Haven't tested anything yet really. Signal seems to be the same as any other ROM.

i take it since its official, no keyboard issues?

Flashing now! 1st attempt was a failure but the second go was a success. I had to fire up Sun's VirtualBox for this (I strictly run Linux). Ill report my individual experience later.

Curious, I updated the kitchen right away and flashed into my Touch.
Somehow, the HTC bioTouch, and HTC floTouch (forgot their name, but whatever they call it, which enable the scroll up and down with finger and the HTC cube thing) they are not available in the kitchen for me to add anymore.

Also I thought this new roms will work with SprintTV, music and stuff.
But after I flashed with kitchen, no customizer is run. so I have no SprintTV or music or any of those are included.

Any ideas or thoughts?
Am I just missing something else?

Works good... on password screens in IE you get the 20 key keyboard but it shows you each character as you type it. It has a big font for the autocomplete options, not sure how much I like it personally. Trying to see if the threaded SMS works correctly but my girlfriend isn't texting me back...

aww nuts thats what i was talking about, the biggg auto complete text on the white bar as opposed to the lttle black bar. is that just a kitchen problem or the vogue leak? ik that in the last kitchen they were having issues with it to?

I used the vogue leak, haven't tried the kitchen yet

guess I forgot to update the radio.
I just did the flash from the kitchen directly. I am reflashing now to update the radio.
So running the exe will give me the SPRINT customizer?
Will the customizer still run after I flash with the kitchen?
