Hold power, then the camera button, then press the soft reset button with the stylist. You have to hold all 3 at the same time... its best to start by pressing and holding the power and camera buttons and then doing the soft reset on the bottom. You should then get the tri-colored screen and you can then flash the rom. Either way, since you haven't already flashed to alltel you can just let it boot into whatever rom you had on there before, shoudl work with the new bootloader... it did for me. Then go ahead and establish activesync that way and then start the alltel flash.

two questions..

1) do i have to reflash to stock sprint rom before using the new unlocker?
2) can we resort back to the stock sprint rom afterwards?

1. no and make sure after flashing to alltel not to run the customization setup.. people are having trouble with connecting to the Internet after letting it run.

For those who have flashed, any unforeseen side-effects of using the Alltel ROM?

my device has disconnected and reconnected a few times during the alltel flash. its a bit disconcerting, ive never had a rom do that before, but it picks back up so i guess its ok. its also taking a very long time.

Keep in mind that just like the Titan, the GPS port needs to be opened before applications like TomTom can use it.

WOW -great news - I will wait a day or two to verifiy that there are no other issues with the ROM. Does anybody think this will speed Sprint up on releaseing their ROM or do you think they even bother to know?
