Yes. Just like in the Titan, there is a hklm\software\htc\suplgps registry, and it is recommended to change the GPSMode from 2 to 4. This has been reported to improve ttf times, but may be placebo

1) do i have to reflash to stock sprint rom before using the new unlocker?
2) can we resort back to the stock sprint rom afterwards?

Thanks, that was the only thing holding me back....you were talking about flashing back to a stock ROM, right?

1. no and make sure after flashing to alltel not to run the customization setup.. people are having trouble with connecting to the Internet after letting it run.

For those who have flashed, any unforeseen side-effects of using the Alltel ROM?

my device has disconnected and reconnected a few times during the alltel flash. its a bit disconcerting, ive never had a rom do that before, but it picks back up so i guess its ok. its also taking a very long time.

Would this work on Verizon XV6900 as well? It would save me from buying a keychain GPS device.

Keep in mind that just like the Titan, the GPS port needs to be opened before applications like TomTom can use it.
