Asurion replacing TP with TP2 - Page 60

I just got a tp2. The tp's are back in stock, but tp2's are not. They will insist you get the same phone. first, you have to ask for a supervisor. i have spoken to 10 reps all of them said no dice. the supervisor did it right away for me.

You have to say this: that you called them back over the weekend. they offered you the tp2 and all the other ones as well. you told the rep you were not sure about it so wanted to go to the store and have a look at the models. so you are now just calling back with your decision. they will try and tell you tp2 not available right now, that is when you say that is what was offered to you and that is what you want. you do not mind waiting a week or so since it is on Back order. the supervisor will give in to you. worked for me first try when i said that.

it was so fast and painless, unlike the 10 other calls i had, the regular CS put me on hold for 2mins after i explained the story over the weekend and he quickly processed my order for the Touch Pro 2!!!!!!

Just got a chance to activate my TP2, first thing I notice is how strong it constructively feels, and the amber notification lights are back on top like how it was on the Vogue, and OMG it has the best hardware keyboard I've ever used! I'll get at ya'll later, gona spend some QT with my TP2 LOL

Friggin' FedEx truck just drove by... My TP2 is on there... DAMN IT!!! I can't take it anymore...

**UPDATE** on my situation

Today before lunch I checked FedEx and it indicated that the phone was delivered to my house, I went home for lunch... I saw the package in front of my door, picked it up, opened it and low and behold a brand spanking new
HTC TOUCH PRO 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

they have sim cards? HAHAHA

This is weird,

Called up asurian and they're monitoring my phone for 48 hours before they replace it. It was a BNIB Tp they upgraded from a mogul.

Did anyone else have this issue?

Finally I was able to get a replacement tp2 after speaking with a sup, although I had to change my story and admit that I broke the keyboard. What a joke. Anyways they told me I had to return the defective tp1 or else get charged $300. What if I end up losing the tp1 and re-report it as lost instead of damaged? Do I still get a charge?
