Shipping weight was 1.05lbs. Usually when Asurian sends out refurbs, it will come in Asurian box / packaging. I know mine was NIB because it came in a sprint touch pro 2 box, includes manual, extra stylus, charger, battery. Everything was bagged up and sealed. The phone was in a bag that was sealed with that sticker that once you unseal, it will say "void" on the sticker.

this was my story but i had 9. try different stores or reps, i'm starting to think that some of the reps are saying anything to get people to NOT get a tp2. but it is up to the store or rep, so be nice! hopefully, they didn't put anything bad notes on you.

Aright, i need HELP! so i go to the Store because my TP failed on me (stuck in landscape and keyboard not working). When i got there, they said that they'll have a look at it, and to return in 30 min. So i did... when i returned they told me that they marked it as water damage and that i have to call the insurance company and make a claim! This is b.s. though because i have never dropped it in water or anything, and it failed after an overheat freezing by charging... so wtf?! is there anything i can do about this? or am i pretty much screwed cause they labeled it as water damage??

My original weight said 1 lb / .5 kg. When I looked at the updated tracking this morning Fdx revised it to 2lbs. Once I saw that I knew what was coming..BNIB..sure enough, that is what it was.

crap guys my touch pro finally failed me i took it to the sprint store the ringer is not working even though it's on all the way come back after an hour and they tell me it has water damage and that Asurion will be responsible for a replacement this time they gave me a Asurion card to call.
![]() the girl at sprint store told me the USB port was green = water damage is this true got home did the online claim but got offered a "Palm pre" i press the Hell no option which ask me to call in I gave Asurion a call talk to a girl and i told her my story she again offered me palm pre told her i required a windows mobile phone for work she ask me to give her few seconds while she goes read her specs she then comes back and tells me that WebOS = windows mobile lol told her that i need to speak to some one else she transfer me to a guy who knew what he was talking he offered me. htc snap samsung intrepid htc touch diamond ( " no keyboard but just like touch pro") treo 850 pro well short story short i told him that i need time to think about it and that I will have to call back. no touch pro 2 for me i think i rather take Palm pre then the above ?? ask them to take it apart in front of you and show you where the water damage is. tell them what you just said, "I have never dropped it in ....and so on and so on." ask that they fix it or replace the phone with a working tp1, they might bump you to a tp2 for your troubles, that's a big might. if all else fail you can now do a claim phoneclaim.com online and file a claim through Asurion and get a tp2. the model should be 7380 for the touch pro 2, any thing else you will get another tp1. do this today or tomorrow, let them know you are missing important phone calls and what have you, make it urgently known that you need a fixed phone asap. |
