I have gone over that every month since July of last year and they haven't said anything to me.

no, I think the computer is ;b
decide which method you want to use and goto the thread for that software for specific help.

@op/mod could links be inserted to the appropriate threads for each software.

It just so happens the last few days/weeks I've been having some issue with losing my connection frequently. after experiencing the issue different ways, today I finally realized, maybe I should try another cord. been on a new in bag cord for a few hours now. guess I ran over it with my chair a few to many times.

also I didn't see wmodem listed. (it's like pdanet, but free) these are the only 2 ways to use with desktop ICS.

1) pinks not a good color for the thread, extremely hard to read lol jk

2) umm for a former sprint employee, your rather mis-informed, http://www.google.com/search?q=sprin...rlz=1I7TSHB_en early April of 08 was when it started being talked about if it was a rumor... the cap became effective July 31st 08 i believe is when the new TOS started showing up...

3) **everyone** im reading through and ill update the post #1 with your suggestions, shortly-thanks guys

Re: [new edits]So You Want To Use Your TP As A Modem??? Here Ya Go!! Your Main Option

I've used PDAnet to connect since my motorola q days. Its pretty painless - install the program on your computer, it prompts you to hook up your phone and then it installs a cab on your phone.

From that point on you'll have a icon running in your notification area. Right clicking it will give you your various options, which arent many. Things like "Automatically connect to internet" and "Boost 3g speed" (the second I don't see much difference in speeds, actually).

It can do it via USB Cable (my preferred method, since your phone doesnt run out of juice), bluetooth, or wifi (you have to set up an ad hoc wireless network on your computer and then connect your phone to it, but I've tested it and it works).

All in all an excellent program, makes things very simple. The authors claim that when you use it your provider cannot see that you are tethering, which would is great if true because most providers dont offer tethering.
