I was a big fan of the stock ROM for the simple reason that yes, everything works. However, upon trying WM 6.5 through its availability through custom ROMs, I have decided that I prefer 6.5 to 6.1 and won't go back to stock for that reason alone.

Listen people. I -never- said that stock is better. I'm going by what has been said on this forum.

I'm sure with enough time I could find the posts, but I have read more than a few times that, "I've tried every ROM but I always end up on stock because everything works.

That's all I'm saying... edit for insults

Yea and you know wut else? Every time a new application is released, and someone says "this doesn't work for me" I chuckle to myself, because I know chances are it's their custom ROM

actually when i had my stock rom stuff wouldnt work. got into flashing custom roms and then that app that didnt work on my stock rom worked on the custom rom? what do you think of that????? im totally being serious too

I prefer stock roms right now, because I never know when my stupid keyboard is going to die. LOL

...lol kidding...but i see how people could like stock, but im a hardcore male nerd, so any chance i have to mess up electronics, im all about it, thus why i cook my own custom ROMS...but the stock does work well compared to other *ahem* "devices" cant wait to see what the TP2 does..

I am far from a fanboy; I just know two things:

1.)That my touch pro is better than any iphone was, is, and ever will be.

2.)The masses love the iphone; the masses are less-than-intelligent, easily-led automatons.

I need the space mostly for the log files...
I use Network Browser and something called Z2 Pocket Lan mostly. The rest is all done via Browser and SNMP alerts.
