Edit :Issues with answering your phone when a data connection is open (answer buttons don't do anything)? Looks like a tweak messes up a registry key that affects this. [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\ConnMgr\Planner\Settings], make sure SuspendResume is set to #777 (not anything containing GPRS). This issue seems to be related to Advanced Config.
I have had this problem this works!!!

Btw, I have been lurking, gleaning information for of ppcgeeks for what seems like more than 5 years back to an Kyocera 6135 and never posted. I found out what I needed to know and continued on, I really haven't had much to add to threads, BUT THANK YOU! I appreciate everyone's involvement!

Re: can't answer calls on touch pro

I have tried the Registry switch, and i double checked it again just now and it is still set at #777

I still have issues answering the phone.... if i hold the screen key long enough sometimes it answers the call. is there anything else that can affect this?

Re: can't answer calls on touch pro

just to make sure, you did reboot after changing the reg key.
also make sure your data is not active when checking/changing.

other than that, it's likely a ringtone or lock app.
try clearing duplicate notifications (dotfred/memmaid)

Re: can't answer calls on touch pro

Yes, Unknown Zone's response is the "answer"!!!

HKLM/Comm/ConnMgr/Planner/Settings/SuspendResume

It is a multi-sz value and should be #777. If it shows anything like ~GPRS or
something containing GPRS, change it back to #777 and soft reset.

Once I changed it back to #777, I can answer the call immediately when data is on, time and time again. Prior to this, there was a significant delay.

Okay, so I'm having this problem myself and it appears related to recently installing Diamond Tweak on the TP (Sprint). I popped into the registry and the key listed above is set to "~GPRS!" - unfortunately, however, I get an "Acces is Denied" error when attempting to change the key.

Thoughts on how to change?

Should add I'm using BreakSoft mobile registry editor on my PC to see this. Also tried editing using Total Commander, but all I see are a series of hex values that don't make sense to me. Assume I could edit with Total Commander if I knew what the hex string should be.

Re: can't answer calls on touch pro

well, it's actually kinda hard to input a single string into a multistring field, however I made a cab a while back that will fix it for cdma (#777)
