Re: Sprint replaced my Touch Pro with a new retail Touch Pro, what do I send back?
Do you really need to ask this question? It sounds to me like you want your sins absolved with us saying "It's Ok"...
Sprint gave you an envelope, put what you can into it as they said. You really don't need all that extra little crap anyway... Or send it all back. I would send it all back, or as much crap as I could stuff in that envelope... Good Luck. |

Not exactly, like I said, I would love a spare battery, and more than a few people have already said that Sprint throws out the batteries and doesn't refurbish them, same as the stylus. If its going to be thrown out anyways, why not keep it? |

The paper that has come in all of my replacement boxes has said to return just the phone and battery.

Re: Sprint replaced my Touch Pro with a new retail Touch Pro, what do I send back?
So if someone does not return a battery and Sprint charges them for the battery not being returned, what's to stop the person from calling Sprint, saying they have the battery and will send it in to have the charge removed from their account?
I've never heard of anyone being charged for not returning the battery, but even if it happens it seems the matter could be resolved by sending the battery in later. |

Re: Sprint replaced my Touch Pro with a new retail Touch Pro, what do I send back?
To the OP I have had, well I don't have a count but its well in the the double digits, PPC replaced either through TEP or the Sprint store I have never given anything back. I replaced my TP 2 weeks ago in the Sprint store with a rep he gave me the new TP and all the accessories in the new box, I took the battery and Styli out of my old TP put the back cover back on and handed it to him. He told me to have a nice day and I walked out of the store. So to answer your question I would say don't send anything back and next time don't ask Sprint what you should do. I have never been charged for any accessories.

If they sent you a return kit (padded ups 2-day envelope) the box fits in there. Do you really want to go through Sprint customer care if they denied your return? Play it safe.

Nope, this is a small white padded envelope for USPS. It can fit the phone and maybe one accessory, but during shipping, that accessory would hit the phone over and over, and I told the Sprint rep this, thats why she told me to only send the phone and battery and cover. |

Re: Sprint replaced my Touch Pro with a new retail Touch Pro, what do I send back?
the battery, stilus, and memory card fit into the TP. put the TP into the belt holster. the extra stilus, ear buds, usb cable, and media port jack do not take up that much room. there should still be room for the power adapter, so what else is there? the book?

The envelope is pretty small by size and width. I could fit the phone in there, but anything extra barely fit. In any case, I just sealed it and shipped it off with USPS. I stuck in the Touch Pro, the battery cover, and I also placed it inside the carrying case, since I don't want the TP to get banged up during transit. I also wrapped the old battery and put it in separately. The way I see it, if my new battery has issues, I can go to a Sprint repair store and ask for a replacement battery. I don't have a second charger anyways, so I may as well wait a bit until a high capacity same-size battery comes out, buy that and a second charger. I did NOT include the stylus, because I can easily say I lost it, and I don't think Sprint cares about a stylus. I also did not include the memory card, because it was not mentioned anywhere on the paper to send back. The paper only said to send the phone back and the charger and battery (and only if I had a replacement provided). So I sent back what it asked, except the charger, because I told the Sprint rep there was no room and she told me to hold on to it, just in case. Its still wrapped, and I have no problems sending it in later if needed. |
