No, I'm running Scott's first ROM (which I guess is mostly stock, but with the updated CE OS).

So, yes, if it matters, my phone is unlocked.

Not till V3. I never thought it did anything nor did I need it.

Yes, i did have it in the kitchen, just never in a production ROM until 3.

If your using my 2.1 OEM pack then you have it in the kitchen.

I also had trouble with the QGPS that I found in a thread (maybe the same one, not sure). It didn't seem to do anything, but then I noticed it put a sat dish icon in my top bar but I couldn't find an interface. I just deleted it and waited for the ROM. Way different from what's in the VZ Nav 3 ROM.

Is there any way to use QGPS without it being cooked into the ROM?

Is that a stock Verizon ROM and if so can you attach the cab file you installed? Us hold-outs seem to all be getting the missing component error so if you found something that works, it would be helpful.
