Just FYI I tried the TomTom with my bluetooth GPS and the internal Touch Pro GPS lags where the external bluetooth GPS doesn't. It isn't so bad that it isn't usuable by any means but not perfect either... I wonder if it is just the GPS or something else.

So, after installing the fix etc, QuickGPS will connect, but Google Maps will not, it just keeps searching.

Any thoughts?

I guess I should clarify "connect." It was able to find a grand total of one satellite, but it was never able to "fix" it.

At this point it can't find any.

1. Has QuickGPS perfomed an update?
2. Have you used HTC GPS Tool outside to see if you could get a lock?
3. Sometimes Google Maps has to be setup manually. There is discussion about it throughout this thread.
