I'm using the stock ROM with this fix and am able to find a few satellites but none actually get fixed. Tried when I was on the road today and no success their either. It's annoying how for me it's hit and miss (last night it worked, today it's not).

If you have a data plan try the AGPS fix linked in the first post. Make sure you read both the first post here and the linked wiki page. There's one minor difference in the port assignment. Make sure you follow the steps on the wiki to an exact.

This is awesome! Using the latest ROM from Scrossler. Unsubscribed from VZ Navigator then followed the directions and it just worked in Live Maps. YOU GUYS ROCK!!!

ok i had to do a hard reset and now my phone has the roaming triangle from the start. even before installing anything and even after dialing *228

You need to reinstall the fix and it should make it go away.

If you don't want the hack, load the oringinal PRI file in the first post.

It will not be roaming, it will just look like its roaming. When you dial *228 you're still getting to VZW, not Sprint. So its not roaming.

Everyone is suggesting I try it however...I can't. You did not link to the Wiki from what I could see and the QPST link is dead, can't attempt anything if I can't get the tools

EDIT: Wll I just tried again and managed to get it to work, although took me over 60 seconds to get a fix on a sattelite - hopefully it will stay working

i understand that. but... will it show the roaming triangle even if i ever use *228 again? it seems to me a hard reset should have resolved that.
