google maps dont do turn by turn with voice... that requires something like garmin, tomtom, igo or navngo

Google maps, Garmin Mobile XT, Live Search, and Tomtom for ppc DO NOT have turn by turn.

I use Garmin and it does have turn by turn dirctions.

Bored, sorry to bother you again! I just dl the TT7_910.9185_VGA_Black_Version. i tried to install in my htc tpro it gave a message saying there's no map found on my device and asked if i wanna dl on the IE? i click yes, it took me to the web site htc-citymaps.tomtom.com and the page was not found. is there any link that i can dl the and install the map source on my htc so TT7 can be found during the installation? please help!!! Thank you!!!

TomTom isnt free, so you have to buy the map pack. You can buy the map pack on TomTom's website and install them via ActiveSync.

I use amAze GPS (www.amazegps.com), it has talking turn by turn directions... and it is FREE.
