Re: UPDATE:Rainbow looking circle
I bought my pro from and a friend, so i didn't get the option of getting insurance on it. I was just wondering if there would be a way to get mine replaced through sprint or htc, I just noticed this mark on the screen and i really don't want to have to live with it. It has grown and is taking up 1/3 of my screen.

Re: UPDATE:Rainbow looking circle
Jah, put the $7 TEP on your account, wait a couple weeks and go into a store and see if you can jive them to replace it.

Re: UPDATE:Rainbow looking circle
Well, wasn't aware of this thread. But add me to this list as well as of about two months ago. Also I have a friend with the phone with the same problem as of a couple of days ago. When I went in two months ago, they said the BS about it's just regular wear/tear and that because it's a "cosmetic defect", they won't replace it for free through insurance. So my friend and I are going on our lunch today to get them sorted out and hopefully after two months, they should know it's a manufacturer defect.

Re: UPDATE:Rainbow looking circle
My Verizon TP (got it the week they came out last year) screen stopped working by touch. I noticed that it has the 'oil slick' in the middle rectangle. Screen is totally dead to the touch.
I called VZW Tech, and they told me that this is considered abuse, so I have to file through Assurion and pay the $50. They said that this is NOT covered by HTC warranty. I am pissed. I am going to try going in to a store to see if they will warranty it for me. |

Re: UPDATE:Rainbow looking circle
I have no TEP and past the 30 day period at this point. IS there any way Sprint will exchange it or is it a lost case and not even worth the trouble? Thank you in advance!
