My Verizon TP (got it the week they came out last year) screen stopped working by touch. I noticed that it has the 'oil slick' in the middle rectangle. Screen is totally dead to the touch.

I called VZW Tech, and they told me that this is considered abuse, so I have to file through Assurion and pay the $50. They said that this is NOT covered by HTC warranty.

I am pissed.

I am going to try going in to a store to see if they will warranty it for me.
