I'm having a blast! But I'll take mine with a grain of pepper! And I am on topic! We have totally realized that oem Velcro leads to nonsensicle bable and epiphanies! And the occasional droppings of big boned phones on the concrete leading to scarred and tattered lives.....

In the interest of being on topic, I will share my findings. Once I heard that the case used velcro I went in search fo a higher grade case. I mostly can't have my phone held in by the greatest invention of the 80s and I also cannot have it making that horrible ripping sound whenever I check a text. I ordered the PDAir case from some website and it is great. Black leather with magnetic (magnet does nothing to TP by the way) closure and classy white accent stitching. It was about $25 and well worth it.

I had to stop using a magnet closure case as it definitely negatively effected my TouchPro.

How so? There is no reason a magnet would interfere with the TP. The screen should be fine, internal components are unaffected by such minimal magnetic fields, and the stylus magnet only pulls the stylus in. You phone only wakes up with the switch that the stylus depresses when removed.

I have two cases that are magnetic and not once have I had a problem.

This one....http://www.elitextreme.com/sptoprofltyl2.html and one from radioshack (it fits but not that good).

It was messsing with incoming phone calls (other people posted the exact same problem). It took me about two weeks to figure out what was going on but it was definitely the magnetic case (after I figured it out what was going on, I was able to reproduce it 100% of the time). When a call came in, as soon as I moved the magnetic flap it would answer & sometimes hang up on the incoming call.

As soon as I switched cases, it never happened again.

By the way, now that I'm using PocketShield it probably wouldn't have the problem but I'm not using the case anymore so I haven't tried it.
