I still have the case kicking around somewhere. I have PocketShield installed now & that would probably stop the problem just like the S2A setup might. If I can find the case, I may try it just out of curiousity.

My point was that the magnetic case did affect the TP however -not that there where programs available to prevent the problem from occuring.

Just to be clear: I'm not referring to S2A, from the S2U2 bundle. I'm referring to a specific mod from the HTC Touch HD that has been ported to the TP. All it does is add a slider to the incoming call screen instead of the 2 buttons to answer/ignore.

just fyi if you take the phone to a corp service and repair sprint store they should replace the phone. There is a known issue from htc that if the pro is dropped from ear level that it may cause chrome damage.

I use juggalo's slide to answer (black version)....the only diff is that you have your contacts and calendar buttons back and you dont have to swipe up or down (lock feature) to use them. Plus, you have your # codes back!.......

Since I got my TP from a mogul replacement deal, I don't have the stock case from the TP. I still have my case from my mogul thought, does the magnets really damage the touch screen?
