Re: I should sue htc/sprint this velcro case suck

What if we replace the velcro on the pouch with the plastic type similar to the type that they give on the backs of EZ-Passes?
I think that would solve most of our problems with it losing grip after a couple of months.

HAHA! That's be an AWESOME idea! I have that stuff! We have them on the back of our I-Passes. I use them to attach my pressure switch on my rifle laser.

The 3M lock stuff would be amazing on the holster. I have never seen the black version, though. Do you think it could be sewn on without screwing anything up?

If anything we could probably just crazy glue it on after ripping off the old valcro? What do we have to lose? After all its probably the same thing with the crappy wornout valcro vs. no valcro at all!

Sorry for double post, but for some reason, the site wouldn't allow me to edit my message.

BTW I found it in black!

I guess I'll try doing this during my next break, school is starting again =T
I'll report back sometime next month with this mod?

I know they switched to velcro cuz they said magnets damage the touch features of the screen but now my phone is even faster ruined. Now i gotta go find a way to make sprint replace my phone and im past the 30 days so when i get the replacement no way will i be using this case ever again do u guys know a place wherei can find a nice case for the phone with a stronger velcro or some other means of closing and also any ideas on how could i go about getting this phone replaced?

You really want to sue Sprint because you bought a POS case? WOW. I can see if the case spontaneously combusted but man, the velcro came unhooked. It happens. I think that is a feature of velcro. Would suck if it never opened.

BTW: thats why I use my pockets. Never had one of those open up on me. One time they did catch fire but thats because I kept flicking my Bic. I should sue bic!

EDIT: Ohhhhhhh the case came with the phone.... Screw that! I woud sue..... Im sure there was no way possible that you had anything to do with the velcro opening... that **** happens to me all the time. The velcro on my shoes (in lue of shoe laces) always opens up on me. Im suing Thom McCan!

Anyways, take this with a grain of salt as it is meant to be funny and sarcastic but not scathing or degrading. Complete attempt at humor....

I agree. It takes a GOOD deal of effort to open mine, although I only used it for about 20 min and switched to a different case. Primary reason i switched was the velcro. Just too much effort to open with one hand. I find it hard to believe that they used different velcro for my case than everyone else. It is definitely very secure.
