Touch Pro BLANK SCREEN!!?? - Page 2

I've been experiencing this same problem since a week. I've sort of figured out that it was my memory card, the phone works perfectly without it but the screen blacks out with it in. Went to the Sprint repair store and they;re in the process of ordering a new one but the model is back order, so .......

If my phone has been off for a peroid of time, the screen blacks out when it is turned on. I have to keep pressing the end button and the TF3D loads up Does anyone else have this problem?

When I changed my background from black to an image i have saved, that image loads up and I have to press end to close it out

(hope thats clear enough for someone to understand lol)

Has anyone tried a hard reset yet to see if the Blank Screen monster goes away? If not, anyone know if its the hardware/touch screen then? I have the same problem when you try turning on the screen, it goes blank, but you still see a backlight.

Can someone help me on how to hard rest this phone. Each time I do it the way the manual says to do it, I get the rainbow screen and I then have to soft reset.

This is exactly what my pro is doing! I tried hard resetting, but of course nothing happened! This happened tomy phone this morning after attempting a simple soft reset. I did the soft reset, and everyhting was going normal..until after the "Touch Pro" screen came up, and then BLANK! I took to a Sprint repair center, and they said the thing was fried, and they placed an order for a new one. My phone is only a week old, but I was using custom roms which were working fine. Don't know if this had anything to do with it?

I'm using the stock rom. And the same thing happened. This also happened on my mogul which was the reason I ended up upgrading. With the Mogul, they ended up replacing the screen. I ended up giving the Mogul to my dad and he's had no problems since.

wow, i guess im not the only one with the same problem. My TP actually had the same problem where my screen is completely black and doesnt turn on but for some reason I was still able to receive phone calls. Like some others, I took it to a Sprint store(it was p***** the 30 days return policy from Best Buy) and they said its a manufacture problem. They told me its on back order and there is a huge line ppl waiting for the TP (its been a month ive been waiting for a replacement). I had to resort to go back to my treo while i wait how long before i get a response. When you called Tech support what did you say to get sent a new one?? I need to get my phone.. I appreciate the help..

Same problem here phone started b not coming out of lock mode. Backlight is on but no display on screen (if i tilt the screen left and right i can see light coming from behind) did about 6 hard resets and still same problem. also power button works whenever it wants to. this phone sucks @ss, i want my mogul back. on a second note my replacement will be here on wednesday.

Touch Pro stock rom purchased back in nov when it came out

got my replacement yesterday and it works fine. still curious to know if there was some kinde of fix for the problem i had

Same for me! This happened b4 wit one of my now 5 TPs.. Ive never dropped one of them and Have been running the stock rom on all but 1. I still get calls and Im able to open my phone type a name in press down and then the call button to place a call. (This is only b/c im well acquainted with where everything is and how my contacts r spelled). It comes on every now and then but only for what seems like 5 min spans. Replacement should come in by 2morrow but I need my missed text!
