wow, i guess im not the only one with the same problem. My TP actually had the same problem where my screen is completely black and doesnt turn on but for some reason I was still able to receive phone calls. Like some others, I took it to a Sprint store(it was p***** the 30 days return policy from Best Buy) and they said its a manufacture problem. They told me its on back order and there is a huge line ppl waiting for the TP (its been a month ive been waiting for a replacement). I had to resort to go back to my treo while i wait how long before i get a response. When you called Tech support what did you say to get sent a new one?? I need to get my phone.. I appreciate the help..
