Re: Picture Mail showing online, but not sending to phone.
Well picture mail is officially pissing me off now. I had the same issue described yesterday.
Not only that, but I had sent an image the day before, only to find it was still sitting in my outbox. Oh, and it says I have an email from the year 5755.

Re: Picture Mail showing online, but not sending to phone.
I was having the same problem, and then I did this http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...9&postcount=28 and it worked... if you have .NET CF 3.5.installed trying what I listed above might work

Re: Picture Mail showing online, but not sending to phone.
I to am having the same picture mail problem. I spoke with Sprint tech support three times tonight who had me do all of the resets and everything else everyone above said CS had them do. The only thing I did not do was a hard reset since I just did one three days ago.
I have tried sending a picture mail to two friends on Verizon, one on Sprint and to myself. I received the one I sent to myself after about 5 minutes but none of my friends received the pics I sent. I followed the steps in the thread above by uninstalling .net 3.5 and picture mail, soft reset, reinstall 3.5, soft reset, pic mail, soft reset, etc. When I attempt to update my profile in settings I get the following message: The profile update could not be completed. Please try again later. If the problem persists, you may need to Customer Service. Error Code: 1012 This also happened when tech support asked me to update the profile eariler. But they had no idea why that message was coming up. So my first (sarcastic) question is, is everyone in tech support idiots? They might as well have the automated voice tell us what to do. Tech support opened a ticket and is supposed to get back to me within 36 hours. Anyway, my real question is does anyone else have this problem with updating the profile? By the way I get the exact same message while trying to update the PRL. Next, are there any other steps out there to try to get this picture mail thing working? |

Re: Picture Mail showing online, but not sending to phone.
Just to give those a heads up:
Day 2 and the method of installing .NET 3.5 *first* and then soft reset, picture mail update, soft reset... STILL working! I got a random picture message today that I *wasn't* expecting for a change (meaning I didn't tell him to send me one to test out my pic messages). So that made me happy to see one come through that I wasn't specifically waiting on. Like I said, just updating the thread with results on how to fix this crazy loophole of a problem. |
