Will be getting my HTC Touch Pro tomorrow, hoping to score some extra covers as well. I will definitely be testing these out and hope to get great results.

Did some digging and found some information about different colors that we can get from mix and exactly what to mix it with...

Just remember that whatever color the dye is, the cover will turn out darker. Keep that in mind when mixing. All these blue covers have been done with royal blue, and turn out almost navy.

I have a stack of them I have done for the pro and the diamond. A buddy of mine at the sprint store here hooked me up with a stack of OEM covers to experiment with, the black and purple look great, the red was ok, and I have a blue on in the works.

wow...I'm a lurker. that sucks.

A bit of an update on mine. It's been a little over three months since I dyed mine black with the liquid dye.

I initially had a problem with it not taking the dye very well, I had it in almost boiling water for 15 minutes and it was still purple, not black. I concentrated the dye and finally got it to black, it looked great.

It's been almost 3 months now and I've noticed the back is turning quite purple on the edges again. Really all my TP has seen is gentle pocket time, and I haven't noticed any color come off in my pockets but it's definitely coming off the case. Time for me to hit it with another dose of black tonight probably.

where can i get OEM battery covers? ive tried ebay and somewhat google but cant find any! also, i know it might not be possible, but doesnt hurt to ask, can we dye it white?
